Currently reading – Notes of a Crocodile, by Qiu Miaojin, translated by Bonnie Huie. Born in 1969, Miaojin was a Taiwanese novelist. This novel is a queer coming of age story in 1980s Taiwan. Sadly, Miaojin took her own life in 1995, when she was only 26.
