The Difference a Day Makes

Saturday ~ January 30, 2021 Sunday ~ January 31, 2021 These are beautiful! Have you seen the boxed flower bulbs when you cash out at the grocery store? This is the result. I learned a valuable lesson, don't judge a bulb by its box. My Auntie gifted one to me and one to my daughter, I'm so glad my daughter left hers here. I sent her a picture and she loves them, I think it will be traveling back to grad school with her after her next visit home. I enjoy looking at them so much, I'm going to look for a couple purple ones to add to the collection.

Another positive, these grow quickly. I only planted them on New Year's Day and less than a month in and these flowers are almost three feet tall and brighten my day. I watered the dirt and waited. Then the stems started to bust thru. I'm in awe of their height, color, and daily changes. This is one of the positives I choose to celebrate from my isolation time. I think if I had been keeping up with normal pace, I would have missed this past weekend's growth. I encourage you to slow down and absorb God's beauty and the miracle of all that happens around you. It's a miraculous world out there when we slow down enough to enjoy it.  Are you noticing the small differences a day makes?
