Book 1 Excerpt;
A loud crash, coming from the kitchen, startles him. He stands up, only able to move in slow motion, as is the norm in most of his dreams, and peaks out of his bedroom door. He sees his father drop to the kitchen floor, as his mother stands there with a bloodstained shirt, and her face resembling something he had seen in a monster movie. Her beautiful blue eyes are now bloodshot with pitch black pupils, and are sunken into her swollen face. While she still looks like his mother, Christian knows she is not herself. Something is very wrong.
