Let Go

Possession is ugly; like a long-smudged bedroom window.
And mistrust a route only lit by shadow.
Obsession… You know… Only leads to bad…things.
And jealousy! It leaves you chasing your tail in rings.
And yet. You do it.
You KNOW you do.
You tell yourself you try not to,
But whether that’s true
Or not, you still find yourself always on edge,
Over analysing a single word said.
Looking for the things that are going to hurt.
Compounding the problem. And making it worse.
Stop chasing the things
That just CAN’...
