My beloved Aunt Mildred passed away yesterday at the age of 92. She did not have COVID-19, but her heart decided it was a job well done, and called it a day. Aunt Millie and I were very close. She was the big reader in my family growing up. As a child, whenever I went to visit, I would love to read from her expansive collection. Books on Jewish thought, Holocaust memoirs, and poetry. Erik Peace and strength be with you and your family at this time. My mother represented the same appreciation for reading for me. She passed away in 2016. I miss her every day. I am glad that your Aunt Millie was a blessing to you. I wonder how much of her influence shows up in your literary efforts. I'll bet it's significant. Peace.
