Making predictions is hard. Particularly about the future.  And if you just did a double take and said Uh, Sarah, thats what youre supposed to do for a living.

Well, not actually, no.  Were not prophets. We might be bards, in that we take some spark of the future and bring it forward.  Just a little bit, just enough to say The future could be like this.  But around it we build a plausible world, which, as we all know, could not possibly be true.
