Show me your teeth bared,
show me claws out
and fists up,
show me roar and scream
show me fire
that rises from the center
of you.

You have endured enough,
it is time to rise,
face what knocked you down
and dare it to try
again.

Would you wallow there,
there with face in sand
and breath choking
on sea foam and
salt?  Would you
turn, and show
your back
to the fear?  

Stand, brush yourself
off, and raise your
fists to the air.
