Book Review: Squirrel Girl Beats Up the Marvel Universe

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Beats Up the Marvel Universe The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Beats Up the Marvel Universe by Ryan North

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Squirrel Girl gets a clone of herself. At first, she senses a great opportunity as the two get along. However, the clone reaches the decision that they can only make the world safe for squirrels by bringing the human population under their control, thus setting up a conflict between Squirrel Girl and her double.

This is a really fun read. It takes Squirrel Girl in a different direction and sets up some brilliant scenarios. Even though you're rooting for Squirrel Girl to triumph in the end, its fun to see how her misguided clone manages to clock the entire MCU. Overall, a really fun read.
