Nean Howe

Located on Elm Ledge just below Danby Beacon in North Yorkshire, this round barrow is in a prominent position with extensive all round moorland views, as well as the North Sea being visible in the far distance. It has the remains of a concrete platform to which a metal mounting plate is bolted, thought to have been for a WW2 anti-aircraft gun or searchlight.
