He's okay now, thankfully. What rotten timing, huh? Happy New Year to you as well! Just think of all the yummy books we'll read this year :)Have you read Karen Marie Moning's Fever series yet? It's urban fantasy with romantic elements and it's written in 1st person point of view (both things I normally hate), but it's done so well I really enjoyed the series. The first three books were pretty good, but the 4th and 5th were outstanding. As long as you don't read them expecting a real romance, I think you might like them.

No, I have not read this series and I think I won't. Not my cuppa!
Aww that sounds really crappy, Kaylea, and glad to hear that little weasel is better now.And as much as that Christmas Day 6 years ago would have scared the life out of you, it gave us your amazing writing so I'm a tiny bit grateful for that!
