Irises Planted on a Grave--Beetles in Moonliight



Winter’s setting in where I live, which makes it a good time to mention a recent issue of Westview featuring a couple of my warm-weather poems.  On page 12, I’ve observed the summer mating habits of Oklahoma beetles (and no, I didn’t make it up). On p. 74, I’ve gone pretty with a poem about springtime irises—but you know me; I had to set it in a graveyard.
