I first learnt of the existence of Vegemite by watching 'Neighbours' back in the 1980s … is it really saltier than Marmite? Because Marmite's too salty for me, and I usually love salty snacks!

It has a big ol' NO from me. the trick with Vegemite is of course to use it very, very sparingly on thick-sliced bread or toast with plenty of butter. Or with good cheddar cheese in a sandwich. Maybe I'll ask one of my Aussie cousins to bring a jar of Vegemite when they next visit ...
