Clockwork – Review

This is more of a short story than a novel, and suitable for younger children who won’t be afraid of its gothic themes. I greatly enjoyed the simple story and lovely language, and find myself constantly amazed by Pullman’s ability to draw you swiftly into his worlds.

Three stars.
