Grand Theft Auto III Will Go On An App Store Killing Rampage Next Week!

We heard it was coming, but now, we've got a release date: Grand Theft Auto III is coming to iOS next week!

Rockstar's genre-defying 3D open world game Grand Theft Auto III: 10 Year Anniversary Edition is scheduled to drop next Thursday on the App Store.

Not every iOS device will be supported, though. You need an iOS device with an A-series chip, so that includes both iPads, the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPod touch 4th generation.

The price? A totally reasonable $5. Heck, that's not just reasonable… it's a downright steal.

I've got a coast-to-coast flight that day, so I guess I know what I'll be doing. Let's hope that from here, we see Vice City and San Andreas come to iOS… open world havok just doesn't get better.
