I have exciting news about The Prophecies of The Nine series
It’s been almost seven years since
Entasy
was first published. It seems like only yesterday, but in that span of time, I’ve written eight other books. I’ve taken a long break from The Prophecies of The Nine series––too long, but I have some FANTASTIC news.
Entasy has a brand new cover and a new blurb! In fact, Entasy and Redemption have both been reworked, updated, and are now available on Kindle Unlimited.
Kylah Keenen’s life is finally back on track. It’s been five long years since her parents’ death and she’s doing well––finally. She’s a costume designer for a Broadway show in New York and part owner in Keenen’s Irish Pub with her brothers and sister-in-law. Everything is perfect ... or so she thinks.
It’s only a matter of time before odd things start happening around her, forcing Kylah to confront her past in order to save her future.
Destined to become a warrior of The Nine–a unique band of Celtic fighters chosen for their individual talents and supernatural skills, Kylah has to reconcile her lost memories when the brave band is put to the test by the leader of the Sluagh. War wages and both sides will stop at nothing to exact their vengeance, especially when they realize Kylah is at the center of it all.
My Rating: 4.5/5 stars
I discovered @authorbrynnmyers thanks to IG, and decided to check out this quick little read, the prequel to her Prophesies of the Nine series. This story is an excellent introduction to the characters and premise of the story, with an included glossary of the characters involved. The storyline is based around Celtic and Gaelic mythology, with a healthy helping of fae and demons thrown into the mix. Myers' writing is smooth and fast-paced, and the backstories in this book do not detract from the reader's interest. I'm now seriously interested in reading the series itself, so this prequel did just what it was supposed to. ~Goodreads review
And last but not least, I’m writing Devotion.
It’ll be out late summer/early fall.
Ty and Vivi have spent hundreds of years waiting for their chance at a peaceful life, and now that it's within their grasp, they will stop at nothing to protect what they love most.
Tynan’s soul has been returned but now something else threatens to destroy him and his family. Liam and Cathal’s actions have taken things to another level and The Nine will be forced to respond immediately. The past is now colliding with the future and he’ll need to do all he can to protect his siblings from the pain of setting Caolainn free.
Vivi risked everything to save Tynan that fateful night in the alley. A decision she doesn’t regret because the child growing within her is nothing less than a miracle. Sorcha will need both her mother and father because Vivi fears their enemies will do all they can to possess her and use her as a pawn in this continuing war.
I’m so excited to be back writing about the warriors from this series. I’ve missed them all. The Nine have a lot going on right now, and I can’t wait to share it all with you. If you haven’t met The Nine, and you’re a fan Celtic mythology, then this is the series for you. If you have, and you’ve been waiting patiently for book three, then you’re wait will be a short one. Please join Brighid, Morrigan, and the warriors of The Nine, as we take on our next endeavor.
