SYNOPSIS (My Version)

Celestine North lives in a society where perfection is demanded and having human flaws is punished. The Flawed are marked, branded and treated as complete outcasts. Helping or aiding a Flawed is also seen as an offence to society. Celestine is a perfect girl. A straight A student, wannabe mathematician and she’s dating the impossibly charming Art Crevan. What can go wrong? Then she makes an impulsive decision and all of her perfect world comes crumbling down. Now she’s questioning the government she earlier admired, and is not so sure that the rules of her world are just. Unknowingly, Celestine becomes the face of a widespread rebellion. But can she prove to her world that to be human is to be Flawed?

REVIEW

This book tells you that you don’t have to try so hard to be perfect. None of us are. Beautifully written by Cecelia Ahern, this story leaves you with one loud and clear message: To be human is to be Flawed. Let’s not pretend we are perfect. Let’s not push others to feel that they are not. If you want to read a fast paced, powerful yet beautiful book, this one is a must. Hats off to the writer for her irreplaceable writing and amazing thoughts.
