Surround yourself with people who know more than you do. Read about them, study them, hang out with them and hire them.  Be on the lookout for the perfect coach or mentor or book or seminar, because when the student is ready, the teacher appears. Pay attention to who and what flies in your radar and learn as much as you can from them.

The above advice from Author, Jen Sincero, is intimidating.  You might be thinking how difficult it could be to get close to folks who know more than you do. Sure you can read about them, and, study them but, would they let you hang out with them or even hire them?

Yes.

You can can hang out with me or even hire me!

That was a bold statement on my part, but, it is also true.

Folks feel like others of substance are usually “in your faces” … showcasing themselves … that is not true. Great mentors often fly under the radar. The key is to pay attention to who and what flies in your radar and learn as much as you can. Make 2019 the year you pay attention to someone who knows more than you do.
