James Received on my Kindle Jan. 09. Looking forward to reading it as it will be a refreshing break from the political junk that I have been reading.

T.R. Pearson Hi James. I'm a bit political junk poisoned as well. I went with True Grit for the umpteenth time and feel better.

Happy reading.

Michael Riley I just finished Serpent Of Old and loved it! The "good guys" are oddballs and semi-losers and the "bad guys" are weirdly and savagely wicked. And, oh yeah, the novel is laugh out loud funny, too.

T.R. Pearson I'm delighted to hear that, Michael. Thanks for reading, and please do review the novel if you're able.

I was asked about the narrator's "journey" and said he discovers he's slightly less of a dirtbag than he feared. Short trip, but at least there are laughs.

Jim Gilroy I see in today's Washington Post - actually I guess it's tomorrow's Washington Post - that there will be a "Virginia Festival of the Book" in March. Any chance we would see T.R. Pearson there?

T.R. Pearson Prognosis negative. (I don't believe I've ever been invited to that one)

message 15: by Jim (new)

Jim Gilroy Damn! How can that be? It takes place where most of your Ray Tatum novels are set.
