Life on Fast Forward

Picture this: Wednesday morning around seven I check the email on my phone only to discover I have a new comment awaiting moderation from this blog. In the email I get a glimpse of the comment.

I read it, then proceed to find a chair and reread it three more times:

Please get in touch with me, I enjoyed reading your work.I am on the Trestle Press publishing team. We would like to work for you. My email is…. our website is http://www.trestlepresspublishing.com

You can imagine my reaction. Complete shock! I ended up talking to my mother and best friend on the phone and contacting my sister via instant message. Those coworkers who I told asked how in the heck I could focus on work. It was definitely hard.

To make a long and repetitive story short, I have signed with Trestle Press Publishing. I am releasing my first book Vision of the Moons as a partial short story. So be on the lookout for that, and today I confirmed a blog radio appearance on 11/19/2011. Once it is complete I will be posting the interview link here.

Like the title of this post says, life on fast forward!
