Rainbow Snippets December 15th
Happy first day of December! Wow has this year flown by or what??? Are you ready for the Holidays?
I’m posting again from This Time Around (which is a rework of Refugees which is the sequel to For the Heart of Phillip). Drama was everywhere in the first book; but it’s been tamed in this volume, which follows Robert and David’s journey after things didn’t go as planned in book one.

To set the stage: (spoiler alert)!!! In the first book, Robert and Phillip break up and David and Andrew break up.
Last week was the end of the heartbreaking opener where David finds his “Dear David” letter. This week focuses on Robert and what he does after he left Phillip:
Twenty-six-year-old congressional aide, Robert Marshall was, once again, heartbroken. What was worse, was that it was the same man who’d broken his heart before; he’d let it happen again. He’d just left the man he loved more than anything, Phillip Marnier. They’d lived together for months, and had been together; but the feelings weren’t mutual.
It was more than obvious Phillip was still in love with his husband, Andrew. Robert beat himself up for even trying to get back with his first-ever boyfriend, especially as things had been complicated immensely by the fact he himself had been married at the time.
