SPFBO Finalists

If you haven't been following SPFBO4 (the Self-Publishing Fantasy Blog Off) you might not know that six of the ten blogs have chosen their finalists! These are some amazing self-published fantasy books that are absolutely beautiful and vetted by top reviewers, so if you were thinking of treating yourself to something special this holiday season, consider picking up one of the following:

Gods of Men by Barbara Kloss

Orconomics by J. Zachary Pike

We Ride the Storm by Devin Madson

Sowing by Angie Grigaliunas

Symphony of the Wind by Steven McKinnon

The Anointed by Keith Ward

I have read (and highly reccommend!!) the first three of these books on this list and based on the reviews from the bloggers, I am looking forward to reading the other three. Just four more finalists and we'll have the top ten indie books of this year's competition!

Happy Reading, All!

Sarah Self-publishing is starting to get more mainstream and lose much of its stigma, and for that I am glad. There are a lot of great books out there that wouldn't exist had self-publishing not been A Thing (yours included in that--loved them both!). Large publishers could use some healthy competition, and I hope more third-party book vendors that work with libraries jump on the bandwagon and distribute more of the self-published titles. High-quality books belong in the hands of readers, no matter how they came to be.

Kayleigh Nicol Agree completely! I wish Amazon could partner more with libraries and donate some of the higher-selling self-published titles they sell because you're absolutely right--they need to reach the readers! It's wonderful that so many reviewers and competitions like SPFBO are shining a much-needed spotlight on indie books to help them find their readership.

And thank you for your kind words! You really made my day!! ^_^
