message 2: by Lusephur (new)

Lusephur Blame his publicist, they are the ones who usually run this type of nonsense.

Stephen King has fans all over the world, not just in the US

message 6: by Lusephur (new)

Lusephur And again, contact his publicist. King has no say on what the specifics of his competitions are.
As for the book, it's alright. Dan Simmons supplies a great story, as always. As does Joe Hill. The rest you may have read before.

Thank you for the breakdown on the stories. I was hesitant to purchase this book, especially after learning it wasn't all new stories. Checking the list, I've read enough of them that I can just pass on this one.

Again, appreciate the info, you saved me some cash.

Tom Become Americans and you all could win. Otherwise, pipe down. He's an American author. What do you expect?

That's pretty close minded. Is that how it works? You should only read books by authors from your own country? I must have missed the memo

Think I'll stick to not being American thanks

message 14: by Laifalath (new)

Laifalath @Natalie
You've missed the point!
No one says that american writers are allowed to be read by just other americans. Actually, it's IMPOSSIBLE TO CONDUCT SWEEPSTAKES FOR ALL COUNTRIES BECAUSE OF THE LAWS.

Well, I'm from Europe and I'm really sad to not be able to participate in. But I don't bother americans because of this like other guys/gals here. This behaviour is ridiculous!

Laifalath @Natalie
Well, I also guess it's a kinda misunderstanding. But, to and fro, I don't think he/she has severely argued in this way. Let it live, let it be :o)

Sorry, my english isn't as perfect as I want to...
