There is so much focus on romantic/sexual relationships lately. Friendships are incredibly important for characters too, and deserve as much love and attention as romantic/sexual relationships.

My Surreal Darkness is all about friendship, and Emo Pistols is about Seth trying to learn how to maybe be friends with his two penpals.

Agreed! Both of my WIPs are totally friendship focused with a little romance on the side.
