Book playlists

"As he walked down the street, James found his senses instantly assaulted but not in an unpleasant way. The music intensified in his ears. Faeries and humans brushed past him. He was dizzy from taking in all the different sights and colors and lights. He smelled sickeningly sweet foods and sharp, earthy herbs."
- The Changeling's Fortune by M.C. Aquila & K.C. Lannon.

Greetings! I thought I would share the playlist my co-author, M.C. Aquila, and I made for The Changeling's Fortune. Give it a listen if you're interested, and check out the book if you like YA fantasy!

Under Grey Skies by Kamelot
Stolen Child by Loreena McKennitt
These Streets by Bastille
This is Your Life by Switchfoot
Elan by Nightwish
The Draw by Bastille
Believe by Mumford and Sons
Dh’èirich mi moch madainn cheòthar by Julie Fowlis
Iona by Mychael & Jeff Danna
Where are we going from here by Blackmore's Night

When I listen to book playlists, I like to guess which songs goes with which parts of the story and which characters. The mix of genres and sound here may seem random, but it actually fits our YA fantasy / dystopian and the unique characters nicely.

- K.C. Lannon

(P.S. I'm the metal fan.)
