Fancy watching two hot guiris in action?
Well, I’m not sure whether we’re all that hot, some would disagree, but we will be in action reading excerpts from our marvellous writing this Sunday 10th June at the mighty Merchant’s in Seville. I’ll be reading various excerpts from my novel Falling for Flamenco, and my mate Craig will be reading a couple of his short stories. You can find all of Craig’s work on his page at Smashwords Craig Cavanagh and his blog Blood Alignment Negativity Theory.

Why are we doing these live readings?
This is the second live reading the “Seville Anglo-Literary Society” will be doing together after the last one in Alcala de Guadaira. Our plan of spurting out some words to various live audiences in Seville is coming on strong. We plan to take our exploits to higher grounds. It’s our mission to read to as many people as we can, in the hope that one day, we’ll actually sell a copy of our stories.
My last experience reading was quite overwhelming. It was a strange senstaion actually reading my book to an audience. It made everything so real and alive. I could see expressions on people’s faces as I read and it made the whole experience of being a writer a little bit special. Even though some of those faces were full of confusion, at least one or two were smiling by the end.
So if you’re in Seville this weekend, and run out of Things to do, then it would be great to see you come along, have a pint, some grub, and be “entertained” for an hour or so.
Hope to see you there.
