When writing “The Duke Identity”, I wanted to create the perfect heroine for Harry Kent (whom I’ve had a soft spot for ever since he was a bespectacled adolescent blowing up things in my Mayhem in Mayfair series). Tessa Todd may be one of my favorite heroines I’ve written. She’s clever, strong yet sweet… and just a wee bit wicked.
