Rambling thoughts...

I just posted some thoughts on my Amazon's Author's Page. It includes some ideas about my future books and series. So, I migrated it over here... (I've edited it as needed for this blog)

Please keep in mind that Fallen is more of a character introduction. Therefore, despite strong language and some violence, it doesn't have quite the level of beheadings and Michael-Bay-style explosions as the later books (ha. ha.). Taking this into consideration, I have provided a recap in each book. Therefore, this should free up the reader to start this series at Book One, Two or Three, etc. They, can, if they wish, go back and read the others later.

So, I'm planning to do this for all my books. Sure, even though there will be over-arcing plots for all series, I said what I just said because each book will have its own self-contained plot--I'll just provide a recap of the underlying series' plot in each new book. I'm not sure if this sounds crazy or not, but I've decided to do this in hopes to have a pulp-fictiony vibe. Therefore, I don't want my readers to feel lost if they skip a book here and there, or if they get tired of the underlying series' plots.

This might change later, of course, if I ever publish a guide for each series. But that might be awhile...
