Evolution is Upon Us: A Chat with the Writers of our New Book!

As y’all may have heard (because you’re our closest friends) the newest Skybound series came out YESTERDAY! Evolution #1 hit shelves and we’re feeling the reverberations from comic shops everywhere all the way at the Skybound Office. To celebrate Evolution’s release, we traveled our team all the way to Portland to sit down with the writers of Evolution on Joseph Keatinge’s actual couch!

We drank all his seltzer water! It was a blast!

Evolution is a body horror book that takes place as humanity begins to rapidly evolve. The story follows three characters in different parts of the world who seem to be the only ones who notice the changes taking place. This is the story of their attempted journey to save humanity as we know it. If you’re a fan of horror (body horror to be specific) then you’re going to love this comic.

Tune into this interview with Joseph Keatinge, James Asmus, and Chris Sebela to hear all about how this absolutely brilliant, undeniably gross book came to be. We’re talking Catholicism, empathy, horror influences, Portland as a comic book hub, crafting a cohesive narrative with three writers, and the comic book equivalent of film-grain.
