Be Solution Focused!
Everyone faced challenges in some way, whether its small like rushing around to make an appointment or a big, big challenge like a health crisis, a messy divorce or loss of loved one’s These events impact us and how we cope and respond to them is what’s most important.
One way to deal with life’s challenges is to focus on the solution and not the problem. If you feel you’ve “failed” in some way – ask yourself, what did you learn, what’s the feedback instead. If you focus solely on the problem itself, all you’ll see is the problem, the solution resides outside the problem.
Remember Where your attention goes, the energy flows…
Learn to be solution oriented by asking yourself questions. What specifically do i want? What do i have now and what do i need to get there? What resources are needed? How can i best ___________, what if i can ___________. I’m good at _____________. I know i can _________________.
Refrain from asking negative questions like, “Why me?” or “Why am I being challenged with this?” Instead, ask yourself questions that will bring a positive resolution:
“How can I improve on this experience?” “What is my body trying to tell me? “What can I do differently to achieve different results?”
