I think one of the biggest milestones for an eBook is when it shows up on Amazon.  Don't get me wrong.  I think Smashwords and its ability to provide a consumer with literally any eBook format is truly amazing.  If you've never been to their site before, you should definitely head over.  Besides my book, they have some of the best of indie teen publishing out there.  (Might I suggest Solstice by PJ Hoover?)

However, the number one question I've gotten when I tell people I've published an eBook is: Is it on Amazon?
