Strange but True.
Everyone has their own opinion and divisive can be the subjective topics of life and death let alone the strange things that can happen in between. I think the following account based on fact is extremely interesting for several reasons.
A couple were driving in their car on the main road in broad daylight and as usual for them they were arguing. The argument was getting heated as the wife continued to complain about the length and time of the journey and that he was driving too slowly. To make matters worse there was a somewhat disconcerting wheeze of a noise as a sudden amount of air started to let itself out of one of the tyres and it became obvious that they had a puncture. The husband pulled up off the main road and loudly swore at his bad luck. They both got out of the car and his wife stood behind the car and loudly complained why her husband had not reminded her to get another packet of cigarettes. Her husband had started changing the wheel for the spare when his wife jumped at the sudden appearance of a man dressed in plain and simple clothes. It seemed as if he had come out of nowhere and he asked if he could help. The husband was having trouble with releasing the wheel nuts. The man suggested to turn the wrench in the opposite direction to that which he was trying. This solved the problem and the husband offered the man a lift, which he accepted.
The wife now resumed complaining this time that they would be late for their appointment. The man replied “it is better to arrive late than not to arrive at all.” There was a somewhat harmonious sense about him. The husband asked where the man would like to be dropped off. He replied with a very tranquil but definite sounding answer “I will know the right time to leave”. He then looked at the husband and wife and summarised with a sentence “life has many trials but they can seem harder when people pull in the opposite directions, a couple pulling in the same direction will find life a more easier journey to be on.” It was a lovely moment that saw for once the husband and wife both agreed. The wife turned in her seat and asked “where do you come from?” Her interest had been peaked but on asking and hearing no response, she turned and then looked in surprise at her husband as the man had disappeared.
In the back seat of a car and strapped in with a seat belt had been the man. They stopped and reported what had happened to the first policeman they saw but on hearing what they had to say he was not surprised as he told them that while he could investigate and search that stretch of road for the man he knew he would find nothing. This was because they had been one in a long line of people who had all reported the same occurrence of the man and regularly he had intervened to help each of them. The many reports told of how this same man in description would appear and help them but then disappear again leaving them puzzled as to what had happened. It seemed that the plight of this person was to help travellers.
The first interesting point to think about and ask is was the man an apparition? If so then how had so many people all seen such a similar sighting? If one accepts what happened then you may ask is it possible that I could have met someone in a similar position without realising who they were?
There are good and bad people in life so should there not be good and bad people who have passed on from life? I think the main point is there is no reason to fear that of which is unexplained if it has helped you and if someone similarly to the above example chooses to appear it is likely to be for a reason as it is far more rewarding to give help. It is more likely in this scenario to be a good intervention rather that one with evil intent.
If you are interested in the idea of an afterlife and possibly spirits then you probably should not expect to see a white sheeted apparition as many reports of such sightings have been removed from this notion. There are many examples of spiritual sightings of individuals who look as alike to a person you may meet and have a conversation with on an everyday basis.
