That’s Not Who We Are

I was disappointed that Jon Ossoff wasn’t able to pull off an upset in Georgia last night. I would’ve very much liked to have seen a rebuke to Trumpism.



In terms of his campaigning, I think the Democratic party is still suffering from some denial that this Trump thing is actually happening. I think Dems need to drop the strategy of just counting on people being better than they are.



The strategy of, this can’t be happening, this can’t have happened, this can’t continue to happen, it just can’t.



This is happening, it will be happening for some time, it has happened throughout history. We need to forget “That’s Not Who We Are” and deal with what we am.
