January in and out
I had until midnight, New Year's Eve.
Have you ever been under the wire, pressed for time?
I was down to the last twenty-four hours of 2016, a date to get my manuscript done. God had impressed upon my heart that I couldn't go into 2017 with this unfinished book. That was all I needed to press toward the mark to make it down to the finish line. It didn't mean I didn't have obstacles and didn't have to fight my flesh to stay the course, but I did. The spirit of completion rested upon me, and I made the Lord proud at exactly 11:59 p.m.
The feeling of success propelled me into 2017, as I hit the ground running with a jammed packed January which has come and gone. Now, we're at the end of February, and I'm so thankful for the seeds I planted in January and February that are now being fertilized by God. I know this because He told me which task to do. When we do His to-dos, they will always prosper. What has God asked you to do?
I encourage you to pray, hear and make a list. Seek God for a plan to get those God-given dreams checked off. Don't let another year leave you in the wind because you keep thinking but not doing. I'm sure we've all have wasted enough time. Embrace this season by doing what you can and allow God to do the rest. We are still in the first quarter. So, Happy Do Year!
Now, get to work. :-)
