#WeeklyMenu Week 186

It has been a long week. Each kid got sick in turn. This always happens. They never get sick at the same time. My youngest, poor guy, got strep on top of it all. He was down the longest. 
Of course, Cabin fever set in about day three. I was going crazy. Didn't want to write, didn't want to idly sit and watch a movie, and certainly didn't want to clean my house. Not that there was much left to clean after three days of being home. I can't wait to get back to work!
In writing news: Its been three weeks since I sent off my manuscript to my publisher. I hate the waiting game, but its the nature of the beast. 
I'm also a good 10k words into a new series. This one is going to be a scifi dystopian. Lots of excitement and fights against aliens.
