An Historical Science Fiction You Must Read
Have you heard the term, “Stranger than Historical Science Fiction?” Well, probably not. You’ve heard, “Stranger than Fiction,” but not the former. In this case, however, what you’re about to read is definitely stranger than historical science fiction, let alone fiction.
So, grab tight and get ready, because I’m going to tell you something you’ve most likely never heard of, or even knew existed.
Our Science Fiction past.
Let me take you down the rabbit hole and tell you about our written history according to a rarely spoken of culture in Iraq, which unbeknownst to most people in the world today, was a culture surrounded by science fiction beyond what most people would think a culture 6,000 years ago could grasp, let alone write about.
We begin in 1849, when British archaeologist, Austin Henry Layard, uncovered over 20,000 clay tablets in the Ancient Sumerian city of Nineveh in Iraq. The tablets were aptly named the Sumerian Tablets and on each tablet were etched symbols and pictures that connect us to a past civilization that flourished in the Middle East, and on down to South Africa, for a very long time.
But, what each etching translated into was all too astonishing, and quite unbelievable.
So, here goes…
Our past is filled with strange, outworldly myths dating back thousands of years, and in many religions we claim to know where we come from, why we are here, and the stories that link us to God, or the gods of an ancient tradition.
However, none, and I mean none, are more detailed and strange than what is described in the Sumerian Tablets.
The tablets speak of a rogue planet named Nibiru that transverses across our solar system, rounding our sun in an elongated, elliptical orbit every 3,600 years. On Nibiru resides an ancient extraterrestrial race with fascinating technologies, a rich history, and unimaginable wars.
According to the Sumerian tablets, the Beings of Nibiru, called the Anunnaki, eventually needed gold for their worn out, failing atmosphere polluted by these unimaginable wars. Among the many tests and trials conducted to fix their atmosphere, they found gold to be the most effective solution, as long as it was burned to a certain degree and turned into powder, then let loose in the upper strata of their sky, temporarily regenerating their atmosphere.
[Yes, this was all in the tablets.]
Tiamat…
…a planet with an orbit between Mars and Jupiter, was teeming with gold and became their main mining world, where they moved gold from Tiamat to Nibiru, doing so by technologically advanced transport ships.
Then, sometime in the Anunnaki’s past, Tiamat was destroyed in a celestial event, though accounts in the Sumerian Tablets aren’t exactly clear how the planet was destroyed. The remnants of the planet, as stated in the Sumerian Tablets, became a vast asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.
[If you look at a map of our solar system, you will see a massive asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. The question is, how would the tablets and the Sumerians know about that asteroid belt?]
Earth.
Enter planet Earth, a beautiful world, teeming with life, surrounded by beautiful blue water and vast amounts of gold. This was their next stop, and this is where things became a little complicated.
In my book series, Star Guild, two characters named Kien and Lien-L appear several times in the story. Both are characters from the Sumerian tablets, though both names were changed in my Star Guild books by simply moving letters around. In the tablets, they are named Enlil and Enki, whom are Anunnaki Beings that look human, though are around ten to twelve feet tall, and stronger than an ox.
According to the tablets, a ship with an Anunnaki on board landed on Earth. Eventually he (the Anunnaki) discovered gold. Elated, he contacted Nibiru and let them know about the good news. Enki and Enlil — brothers — were sent by their father, King Anu of Nibiru, to set up mining posts on Earth and to oversee the mining operations.
Things didn’t go as rightly planned.
With great technology, they created deep mining tunnels on Earth, many of which were/are located in South Africa, and can be seen to this day. These tunnels had been so well cut, that many trained miners and engineers claim that a better technology than what we have today must have been used.
I digress.
Enki and Enlil established themselves on Earth, and thenceforth the mining operations began. The Anunnaki moved gold out of deep chasms in earth and loaded it onto transport ships, then hauled it to Nibiru. They did this for many, many years, but the work was hard and unforgiving, unlike it was on Tiamat.
Eventually, the workers complained and without much resolution, they revolted.
Enki came up with a plan.
Genetic manipulation.
Enki thought, “What if I took genes from our own DNA and combined them with a smaller, less intelligent Being?”
Apes, Gorillas, Chimpanzees, etc., were chosen.
[I know, sounds odd, but bare with me. Again, this is all in the tablets. I’m not making this stuff up.]
After experimentation and many failed trials, the first human was created in a place the Sumerian’s called “Eden”, which translates from Sumerian to English as “Steppe” or “Plain” or “Flat Terrain”.
Humans were fascinating to the Anunnaki. They grew faster than an Anunnaki from baby to infant to adolescent to adult, yet they weren’t as strong, but they followed orders well, and didn’t complain. They could not reproduce, which pleased Enlil, but not Enki.
Enki believed that all Beings should have independence, and individualism. Enlil wanted nothing of the sort, so when Enki secretly gave a life-giving reproductive system to humans via a change within the human DNA structure/genome, Enki was greatly angered, and from that moment on, Enki and Enlil conflicted, and Enlil became man’s great adversary.
A war was fought, and from the writings in the Sumerian Tablets, you would think the war became nuclear.
From a portion of Zecharia Sitchin’s Lost Book of Enki, translated from one of the Sumerian Tablets, spoken from Enki to a Sumerian scribe, we see a devastation unlike any we’ve seen on Earth before or after:
“It is done! Erra in his skyship shouted. In Nergal’s heart there was no more vengeance. Surveying their evil handiwork, the two heroes by what they saw were puzzled: By a darkening of the skies were the brilliances followed, then a storm to blow began. Swirling within a dark cloud, gloom from the skies an Evil Wind carried, As the day wore on, the Sun on the horizon with darkness it obliterated, At nighttime a dreaded brilliance skirted its edges, the Moon at its rising it made disappear. When dawn the next morning came, from the west, from the Upper Sea, a stormwind began blowing, The dark brown cloud eastward it directed, toward the settled lands did the cloud spread; Wherever it reached, death to all that lives mercilessly it delivered; 233 From the Valley of No Pity, by the brilliances spawned, toward Shumer the death was carried. To Enlil and Enki, Ninurta and Nergal, the alarm sounded: Unstoppable the Evil Wind death to all delivers! The alarm Enlil and Enki to the gods of Shumer transmitted: Escape! Escape! to them all they cried out. Let the people disperse, let the people hide! From their cities the gods did flee, like frightened birds from their nests escaping they were. The people of the lands by the Evil Storm’s hand were clutched; futile was the running. Stealthy was the death, like a ghost the fields and cities it attacked; The highest walls, the thickest walls, like floodwaters it passed, No door could shut it out, no bolt could turn it back. Those who behind locked doors hid inside their houses like flies were felled, Those who to the streets fled, in the streets were their corpses piled up. Cough and phlegm the chests filled, the mouths with spittle and foam filled up; As the Evil Wind the people unseen engulfed, their mouths were drenched with blood. Slowly over the lands the Evil Wind blew, from west to east over plains and mountains it traveled; Everything that lived, behind it was dead and dying, people and cattle, all alike perished. The waters were poisoned, in the fields all vegetation withered. From Eridu in the south to Sippar in the north did the Evil Wind the land overwhelm; Babili, where Marduk supremacy declared, by the Evil Wind was spared.”
Not a pretty sight, nor a pretty section to read. Soon after, the Anunnaki left Earth, realizing they were not fit to rule over humans, and not right to keep humans as slaves.
Thus came the end of the Anunnaki transmission to the human scribes.
But, what if there was a twist to this story?
In the tablets, Enki and Enlil left Earth, but what if Enlil came back to use a select amount of humans to start his own experiments and to use them as slaves in a different sector in our galaxy — a sector where gold thrived? In this way, he could continue to help his home world, Nibiru, and better his planet’s atmosphere.
And…what if the humans that were taken, and through hundreds and hundreds of years and dumbing-down by chemical osmosis and a doctored history, simply forgot that they were slaves? What if the humans didn’t know who Enlil or Enki or who the Anunnaki were, and yet at the same time, they lived decent lives, not knowing they are really working for an unseen ruling race?
What would happen if those humans started to put two and two together, awakening to the fact that they aren’t alone in the universe, and have been living for another race’s benefit their entire lives?
What would happen?
Imagine.
Welcome to The Star Guild Saga, a place where fiction meets Sumerian history. So, buckle up and get ready, because you’re about to be taken on an enlightening and thrilling ride.
