RAPE affects victims mentally & physically. RAPE robs victims of their voice, sometimes even leading to suicide. RAPE is traumatic, causes FEAR, SHAME, DISTRUST, LACK OF SELF-VALUE. It violates a person’s human rights. It is a VIOLENT ACT and it NEEDS to be prosecuted as such. The #BrockTurner case Is a disgrace to the American judicial system. Something needs to change. Imagine if you were the victim? If the victim was your sister? Your friend? #NOmeansNO !!
