Where have I been?

I've been writing, unfortunately, it's been content I can't sell. I'm probably just going to give it away for free (but not through Amazon) when I'm done, but that means no external editor and no fancy cover, because I can't afford that on a non-monetized work.

The reason I keep working on it is twofold. first, I like the way the story's been going, so I want to see how it ends. Second, I'm hoping that simply being back in the habit of writing every day will allow me to transition back to my own IP and get the work people want to see done.

Robert McCarroll As a bit of an update, I did get some work done on "Stanley and the Ship Trap" (and there was much rejoicing, yay) but I got a lot more done on Scintilla Vitae, which is the aforementioned piece I can't sell. It had been sitting at about 6,000 words from December until August. Now it's 120,000 and coming in for the climax and wrap-up. I'm still working out the best way to give it away, because, as I've said, I can't sell it. This isn't a separate blog post because it's not long enough to count and is basically an update to the existing one here.
