Hey there!
Yes, it's me again. And nice to see you back here again.
I promised that if you wanted to also read some of my poetry that I would post some.
I've written about so many different things that I just don't know where to begin! Yet, I have chosen a poem for today. Yes, I have.Hope you enjoy!______________
A SINGLE SMILE
Such a weary face
Years of hardship encanyonned on it
Like old cuneiforms
And this, a single smile
That flows
Into those wretched gorges
Filling them up, and filing them away
Eroding away the erosion
That time places upon us all
In defianceWeariness has crow-footed the edges
Even out and beyond our eye’s extent
And smothered the light
That once radiated out, from within
And this, a single smile
Un-shades
And re-forms
Our naturalness
And drops the essence of stars
Back into its rightful place
