And yet another poem for your enjoyment!
Hey all!I am in a very good mood today! It's raining out, and the clouds are covering the hilltops. Great weather for a Saturday, but can't do laundry.I'm here feeling like sharing more with you good folks, so I will. What about another poem? Hmm, that ought to whet some appetites! And more will come.
Here's another one I have chosen to share with you, it's an ode to my father who passed in 1988. He was an amazingly strong man.
_____________________TEARS OF A SILENT MANAs I kneel herebent overjust a moment agowe stood in awe watchingwond’ringfor a moment foreverjust how tallwe were standing
As I kneel herebent overI remember a sounddeafeningly noiselessthen blackforever seems much shorterthen the wallhow’d I get here?
As I kneel herebent overone moment, and no wallmy aching arms sole proofof thatmemories filled with black holesnot a choiceof my making
As I kneel herebent overa moment long agoa beady line of sweatproductof today’s menacing Sunon my browunable to care
As I kneel herebent overall moments are now oneinstinct is my mastertoo shockedyet, for sorrow to commandbut the dusthas settled down
As I kneel herebent overhow much time has gone by?how many moments lost?too long, must push so much aside nowmust be heremust find you now
As I kneel herebent overtime has frozen againmy arms do not ache nowno painsmust be beneath this big logand you areso beautiful
As I kneel herebent overa tear has found its wayto the tip of my nosebut fora broken moment laterit flows downyour lifeless cheek_____________________
Do you think the rain might have influenced my choice?
And you can still get a #free copy of my #ebook, Suddenly Death by merely...asking.
As always I cannot thank you enough for your time and attention. And do be very safe.
