How to enthral a kelpie

My book is having a whale of a time without me, having been spotted already in London, Lake Como, Ithaca and by the Bay of Naples.  Now reader Bill sends this mystery picture which, from the co-ordinates he gives (56.019178, -3.755512), suggests he is just across the Firth from Andy Murray territory.
