No pseudonyms for me

PSEUDONYMS

My first stint with writing was in 2007-08, in MSN’s Reader’s archive, back then I worked and needed pseudonyms, because I was absolutely obsessed with writing.

Courtesy MSN’s editor of that time and my bosses.

MSN’s editor pampered my silly writings silly and encouraged me to go crazy and my bosses, well, I used to go to office and sit there all day, sometimes days in a row without their showing up, so I utilized my time in writing. But I had hope that I will be able to get a better job and I did not wanted my future employers to google my name and see dozens of writings about various social issues! Some were so angry that I had to use pseudonyms – three Aaina, Chanakya and Agni.

Then I became jealous of my own pseudonym Agni- I noticed how much the editor loved the writings I wrote using it, then I realized that if I really want to write I will have to stop using pseudonyms, because they ultimately can hog quite a substantial amount of limelight if you want to hide behind them, and if you don’t then why use them! So I shifted to reality based fiction and used my name, only my name thereafter

I really don’t want to build my reputation using a false name, a fake image or photograph- I believe that makes us lose our authenticity too!

I WILL RATHER BE ME WITH ALL MY VICES.[image error]

BUT YOU MAY COME ACROSS SOME SNAKES WHO MAY TRY TO CONVINCE YOU OTHERWISE, BETTER WATCH OUT.
