Where is Rahm Emanuel and What is He Doing?

I'm putting out an APB on my mayor, Rahm Emanuel...you know the guy. Slender, tailored suits, short finger, sweaty lip, salt pepper hair, Northwestern diction peppered with pithy curse words. I swear I haven't heard a peep out of him in the past couple of weeks. Is he still crying in the bathroom over losing the Lucas Museum? Is he riding a Divvy bike to the museum campus to meet up with his processor and strategize on how to Meigs field McCormick Place and maybe bring Luke and his father back? Is he cursing out his corporation council for not finding a loophole in the lease for the office space that houses Friends of the Park?

Well he certainly isn't telling us how he can take all the money he raised for the Lucas Museum and use it to educate our children, fix CPS, and pay our teachers. He isn't telling us how he finally understands that racism, the blue wall of silence, the FOP, and the current state attorney are the root causes for many of the injustices plaguing Chicago's Black and Brown communities. He certainty hasn't expressed his belief that #BlackLivesMatter. Hell, he hasn't even commented on his newest, returning resident Dwayne Wade.

MAYOR EMANUEL...WHAT ARE YOU DOING? You certainly aren't leading this city.  I've heard more ideas on leading this city from the new police Superintendent than I've heard from you. I posted an open letter to you in December with some great suggestions on how you could save yourself and your legacy if being a great mayor for all of Chicago's residents was your goal. You haven't accomplished any of my suggestions especially issuing a pardon to Howard Morgan and restoring his Chicago Police Department pension and health benefits. You and the FOP let Burge the torturer keep his pension and benefits, but you won't lift a finger to help Howard Morgan after 4 white police officers shot him in the back 22 times. It's clear that you are only concerned about the elite business community, downtown, the north side, raising property taxes, and Uber.

You are not my mayor. I really can't decide if are even worse than the Daleys. You have failed us and I promise you this is your last term. When I saw Anita Alvarez spew her hatred and lies when Howard Morgan's sentence was commuted by former governor Pat Quinn, I knew she hates Black people and I would dedicate all my energy to ridding the city of her malfeasance. #ByeAnita When I saw former Superintendent Garry McCarthy speak against Howard Morgan at his pardon hearing, I knew Garry McCarthy hates Black people and I would dedicate all my energy to ridding the city of his clueless self-righteousness. #ByeMcCarthy And with your silence in these last weeks, I now know you hate Black people too. Two down, One to go. #ByeRahm #BlackLivesMatter #WeWontBeIgnored #GetToSteppin
