Unapologetically, your truu

What does Your TruU really mean?

Well, lets talk about it. Because it took me years to start the process of becoming my true person. To be real-real about it, it took far too long. See, I've wasted so much time caring the burden of what people think and people pleasing. These are two heavy spirits that have at one time dominated my life until I healed from the process of unmasking. I had to learn (in some cases, still learning) how to no longer apologize for who I am. No longer adjust to fit the people, situation or their opinions.

I mean why was it always me adjusting and no one else? There's no one to blame anyone but myself for masking to please others. When I mask, hid my feelings and acted like everything was alright but it really wasn't it became easier to do. This subject is deep and wide and I'm speaking in general, giving the basics.

So many people have heard about masking but not too many want to go through the process to keep the mask off. So, they settle right there; hiding behind their safe place. In this place, they will never be their true person because who can see a hidden soul? The face that's being shown is a false and will be mistaken identity. To unmask is to be the real you in all situations.

There's a reason why people mask. It's up to you to find the root of why you do. Why be sorry for who you are? If you are always apologizing because people don't get you, it's time to re-think this thing. It's time to be true to yourself and be the God given gift you are, around people who will accept you. And if they don't, you are okay with it. That is when you know you are on the road to becoming unapologetically your true you.
