A Beautiful Poem: Setting Sail

I'm not often one for poetry, but this is, in humble opinion, quite moving.

Setting Sail

The lines won't come


they squiggle and tangle


jumbling my thoughts


my nerves stick up


like pins in the cushion


worrying about that boat.


 


It prickles like heat on cactus


like mange on dog


like flies on three day old rotten fruit.
