A Taste of What’s to Come…

And that taste, unfortunately, tastes very badly.  I cannot say I have not over-expected of my own achievements, especially given my recent advancements in what I hope will be an enduring career.  The book(s) are coming out, and my writing has never before been in such a state of fluidity, that I am seemingly able to call upon words at a whim.  2000+ words a day is no stretch, and indeed, no ache of the heart, head or body to accomplish.  But the rates at which these words are being read certainly leaves something to be desired.

Running totals:  number of words read by family and friends – nil; number of words read by strangers – nil; number of pages read by one odd fellow who actually opened the book but apparently never got past the copyright page (according to KDP Select) – one (the same copyright page – peculiar interests, this one).

What is a man to do then but take to heart that at the very least, I am still enjoying the process.  Very much so, in fact, more fun than I’ve had before with these imaginary people whose interesting lives I am duty bound to record.  I hope soon others will enjoy them as I have, and still do.
