I'm gonna have to go with Jamie. But either way works for me. :D

As much as I love Jamie, those are John's books. I think John should come first. I have enough problems explaining the books to my friends... if there's suddenly a "Jamie" book without Claire I'll never hear the end of it.
Jamie...a bit of sensuous shock and awe to inescapably hook us at the start; reminding us there will be no sleep or mundane things until the book is completely devoured.
JAMIE!!!! I'm reading Voyager right now and I can't believe I could love him MORE with each page! (=
Jamie's section is heartfelt and wonderfully blunt yet as always, letting our imagination take over for the exact details. But John's definitely helps set up where this book is going more. I, like so many others, love Jamie and Claire so much, we simply can't get enough. John though is so intriguingly rich with depth and nuance. If the jacket mentions that Jamie is in this book, it will be enough: we will read and enjoy other characters but, yes, passionately devour anything about Jamie and Claire.
Jamie - I'm, unfortunately, not a fan of John's at all and don't read those...But I'd devour anything with Jamie in it--even without Claire!
