I ended up in 6 giveaways/promotions this week, so it's been busy. Misty Evans had a weeklong party at her Yahoo group to celebrate the release of Soul Survivor. It's been a lot of fun. I've gotten to know Misty's fans and a few other writers, and I gave away a few books. I've given away 3 books already this month for The Romance Reviews Sizzling Summer Reads, and on Wednesday I had a chat in their lounge. It was new for me. When it was the next author's turn on Thursday, she gave away books. It dawned on me that I should've given away books, too. Next time I'll know better.
But that's not all. Evelyn at Paromantasy is celebrating her 1-year blogging anniversary with a Blogoversary Giveaway Bash! I heart Evie. She writes excellent reviews, and I'm not just saying that because so far she's given each of my books 5 fangs. She has a great way of phrasing sentences. She could be a writer. She's including all my books in her giveaway, and you have until June 31st to comment on my books or her other giveaway books to get a chance to win. Here are the links for her posts and reviews for Cattitude, Dead People, Dragon Blues, and even my short story The Seventh Dimension.
Coffeemugged is having The Great Indie Summer Read Giveaway. Dragon Blues is featured on Day 10. The giveaway runs until July 31st. She has over 100 books for giveaways. You can find the instructions here.
I did one last giveaway of Dead People at Book Reader Addicts' Indie Author Bash. You only have until the end of today (June 24th) to comment and win either mine or 2 other indie books.
One more cool thing is that Dead People was featured at DailyCheapReads.co.UK today, and it's now in the top 10 of Ghost and Gothics in Amazon UK Kindle books.
A lot of my friends have new releases. I've been too busy to post about them, but plan to do it next week. The RWA National conference is next week. I won't be going, so I should have more time to blog. Though some of my other stay-at-home writer friends have mentioned a party…
It's hard to believe that June is almost gone. Every day flies by. How has your summer been?
