Waiting. And why I'm not a fan of it. My Thoughts #mythoughts

Yesterday on the IWSG post, I talked about not liking having to wait. In truth, I'm a very patient person. But this waiting for response from an agent is annoying as heck.


Waiting is defined as -a pause, interval or delay. Yes and that's what makes it so annoying. It's a pause in the forward motion of my writing life. It's an interval of time where my focus isn't on writing but thinking about whether or not there is an email in my box from a certain person. And definitely a delay.  I'm completely unfocused when it comes to put words on computer screen. Heck I'm prepping this an hour before it's going live and I consider that a major success.  Usually posts are done days or weeks a head.

Nope - nothing in my email box that relates to this post. Sigh. Back to playing solitaire.
