Muggle Defined
Muggle is a term I use occasionally in law of attraction world that might be worth explaining for those who aren’t familiar with it …
Technically the term as used by J.K. Rowling indicates “a person who lacks any sort of magical ability and was not born into the magical world.”
It’s used in many circles to describe those outside of the group. (Like civilians are to military peeps.)
I sometimes talk about muggle ways, muggle thinking, muggle habits, and yes – muggle people.
I don’t mean it derogatorily (as if conscious creators were above and muggles below), but rather as a way of discerning one way of being versus another. Just as an attempt to help raise our own awareness about how we engage life.
Because it’s not like in Harry Potter world, where you are either magic or a muggle.
I think each of us is capable of creative magic.
It’s just that some don’t know or believe or use it to their benefit. (Because many muggles inadvertently use their creative powers to foil their desires.)
That’s muggle living: relying on action to try to make things happen, or believing in fate and feeling powerless to steer their lives where they want to go. Not realizing that thoughts and vibrations matter. A lot.
Here’s the thing about muggles and conscious creators …
It isn’t so much that you either are or you aren’t – but rather that we’ve all got some habits of both.
Conscious creators are just more on the scale of believing in possibilities and their ability to manifest them. And muggles are more on the end where they believe in hard work and practical limitations.
I have my muggle moments where I unconsciously try to effort something into being. Just out of old habit.
Other times I consciously tune my vibration to what I want to experience and let Universe do the heavy lifting. But I’m capable of both routines. I think many of us are.
So when I use the term muggle, I’m just describing someone who is not aware of their creative powers. Sometimes I fit that description.
And it describes a lot of people that I love.
I know resisting it isn’t my smartest move. And judging it just locks me into that energy as well.
Instead, if I just use awareness of my own muggle tendencies to enhance my ability to choose how I engage life, that gives me a better chance of empowering myself to create what I desire.
With that in mind, I can genuinely say, let’s hear it for the muggles! For those who simply don’t realize what powerful creators they are, and for those times when we muggle it our own selves.
It’s all good.
