New e-book reader from Samsung

I’m still lusting after the Kindle 2, but I have to wait until Amazon’s wireless service comes to Canada. Meanwhile, I’ve read over 20 books on my iPhone 3G.

However, I admit I was intrigued by the Papyrus, a new touchscreen e-book from Samsung. Supposedly it’s 5.8 x 8.3 inches (the Kindle is 5.3 x 8). I hope the rumours that it only has 512MB of memory and no Wi-Fi are wrong — it would be pretty stupid of Samsung to launch such a limited device in the current e-book reader field.
